Why Operation Gold?

This site is dedicated to helping people getting started with gold prospecting and panning. I started this website because I felt there wasn’t any good go-to place online for information about gold prospecting and gold mining.

The mission of Operation Gold is to help people discover the wonderful hobby and business of gold prospecting and help them find as much gold as possible. Operation Gold was started in 2010 by a crazy Swede with gold fever named Dan.
